I have a bad credit history, can I still apply for a loan?

Yes, you can! At Finance One, we specialise in giving those with poor credit history an opportunity to take back control of their lives and start again. To do this, we focus on bank statements rather than your credit rating to give you a fair opportunity.

Can I apply for a loan if my income is Centrelink benefits?

Yes! Finance One will consider applicants who receive any of the following:

Family Tax A & B
Parenting Payment
Carer Payment
Aged Pension
Disability Pension
Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Service Pension/Partner Service Pension

What are the minimum requirements to apply with Finance One?

The minimum application requirements for a bad credit loan with us include:

18+ years of age;
casual employment for a minimum of 3 months;
secure residency for a minimum of 3 months or 6 months if boarding; and
have no more than 2 payday loans on your bank statement.

What documents do I need to provide for a loan application?

The minimum documents needed for Finance One bad credit loans include:

three months of bank statements (we will provide you with our secure link to bankstatements.com.au to provide your bank statements);
proof of your income (2 payslips, no older than 6 weeks); and
completed application form and privacy statement.

What can your bad credit loans be used for?

Our fast-approved credit loans are for those looking to restore some balance in their life and acquire necessary assets. This includes vehicles (from cars to caravans) and work equipment.

Can I make extra repayments, increase my repayments or pay my bad credit loan out early?

Absolutely. If you’re able to make extra repayments or increase them, then we encourage you to do so. However, it’s important to note that our bad credit business and personal loans do have an early payout fee.
